LOVE IS EVERYTHING

Laugh Often, Love With Your Whole Heart

Laugh Often, Love With Your Whole Heart

The picture above is one of my favorite photos of all time. It was taken 1 year ago on the 4th of July at Lake Michigan Recreation Area. Stephanie Beeler passed away this summer of a very aggressive cancer. She is the one sitting between Rose and I in this photo. Steph has been a friend and student for 16 years. She was capable of being both objective most of the time and subjective when I needed her to be. She was the person I called. Her sense of humor matched mine perfectly and her ability to simply listen was beyond most Buddhist's. I am sharing this because I want to continue to honor her and remember her. Love your people as though they may not be here next year. Cherish them. The studio will not be the same without her. I will not be the same without her.

If taking care of yourself during this pandemic feels difficult, know that you are in good company. Go easy on yourself. Do a little bit each day without expectation. If your energy level is lower than usual, don't worry, it will return. If you feel you are failing, don't give up. Wake up each day and try again.

WE WILL OPEN AGAIN SOME DAY

The rope walls are finished and I can't wait to share them with you. There are 6 units all together. These rope walls were donated to the studio by my very first yoga teacher Cherie Ferro. She closed her studio in May and wanted the rope wall to go to a good home. I hope we can put them to use soon.

Online classes are going well. We are loving our new livestream camera and sound, as it has increased the quality of the classes. Our new recording and streaming studio is almost finished with three new cameras and the ability to switch views and angles easily. Thank You David Such for volunteering your time to help the studio navigate new ways of learning and connecting. Sign up for classes under our SCHEDULE TAB.

Lastly

Our 25 week Yoga Alliance accredited 300 Hour Advanced Teacher Training Program starts this October on the 9th. There will be an online option for this course. We will do a weekend with Jules Mitchell on Biomechanics October 9, 10, 11 and have a 3 day training on The Art of Transitions with Annie Carpenter November 13,14,15. Please let me know if you are interested in the 300 Hour Teacher Training or just the workshops with Jules or Annie.

Sending you all a big warm hug from a safe distance and some love,

Misty
